ReadingReading is very important for students to practice every day. In class, we work on strategies that help students understand what they are reading and to dig deeper into a book. At home, parents can ask their child questions to remind students that it is important to think about what they are reading.

Practice, Practice, PracticeIt is crucial that students practice the skills that they are learning in class. I have included links for websites where students can practice math, reading, typing, and even prepare for IAR testing.

About Ms. Johnson
I am so very excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher! I actually went to school in the Troy District from third grade to eighth grade. I can attest to how great a Troy education is and that is why I am so happy to be teaching here !

Welcome to Third Grade!
We are going to have a wonderful 2020-2021 school year! I anticipate an exciting year full of exploration, learning, and good times. We will be working to gain skills and understanding on many third grade topics while staying safe in the classroom! We will build a sense of community and friendship in our classroom that will last the whole year long. I can't wait to see my students grow over the course of the school year.
